Get Down to Earth 2018 Gala Celebration

The Green Schools Alliance is hosting our annual Champion of Change Gala Celebration to honor an individual or organization that has been an instrument of fundamental change in areas that reflect the vision, mission, and initiatives of our organization. This award celebrates those whose extraordinary accomplishments through a commitment to business, philanthropy, or partnerships has altered the course of our world and empowers others to serve as “change agents” in their own communities.

This year, we are honoring The Rise Fund, whose support of EVERFI has brought significant attention to sustainable education, especially in the areas of equality, inclusion, diversity, financial literacy, and environmental stewardship. In addition to honoring our Champion of Change, we will be recognizing Bob Weir as our International Ambassador for his passion and dedication to sustainability and environmental causes.

The Get Down to Earth Gala Celebration will be held at Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, CA on Monday, September 17, 2018. The program will include the following:

• 6:00pm: VIP Meet & Greet
• 7:30pm: Doors Open for General Admission
• 8:00pm: Musical performance with Bob Weir and Dumpstaphunk
• 10:00pm: DJ Afterparty with DJ Journeyman
