Global School Advisory Committee: Collaboration Opportunity For Teachers

CS 3

Calling all educators to join the Global School Advisory Committee: a diverse committee that will help guide the building of new FREE educational materials!

We have partnered with ClimateScience, a youth-led nonprofit that makes complex climate science-related themes fun, engaging, and easy to understand for all ages! ClimateScience offers several products aimed at educating the world's youth and professionals. These include courses on topics like agriculture and energy, children's books, animated Youtube videos on climate change solutions, and quizzes in their app. We are excited to announce that we will be embedding their wide range of FREE, interactive materials into START! (See attached ClimateScience PDF for an overview of their work.)

We want to unify the voices of our 10,000+ member schools worldwide to deliver effective, high-quality resources, which will help all schools across the world effortlessly integrate climate solutions into their curricula. In order for us to gain a clear understanding of what we should create, we need to hear it directly from ‘those in the trenches’ - you!

How it Works:

As a committee member, we ask that you contribute your expertise and knowledge by:

1. Testing new (free!) materials and resources created for schools and teachers.
2. Providing feedback, through short survey questions, to help us improve and develop new materials that best meet your needs.

If you would like to help us make effective and engaging sustainability education that is accessible to every student across the world, we would love your input!
